Lead Instructor/Owner: Mike Watkins

I Teach Real-World Firearm Skills To Women, Novice and Current Gun Owners

For over 20 years Mike served his community as a police officer and SWAT officer. He does not view firearms simply as a sport. It is his profession and he has dedicated many years to learning and enhancing his own abilities, however, his passion lies in conveying those abilities to his students at all skill levels.

"I have heard several times over my career, anyone can teach someone how to shoot. Well, that's true, pulling the trigger on a gun is easy. Being able to confidently use a gun to defend yourself or your family when confronted with lethal force is an entirely different story and that is what I teach"

  • Prior to our first training, we will discuss your training goals and set a path for achievement with realistic  training goals.
  • After each session we will discuss what when well and what we still need to work on.
  • I will give you homework to complete and work on before our next training.
  • We will conduct regular skill and technique assessments on your progress.
  • Always Fun.  I am very serious about training, however training has to be fun.  In my experience, when anything becomes unfun, we no longer have the desire and passion to continue.
